The Wei Lab works in the highly cross-disciplinary field of BioMEMS, molecular and cellular analysis, and systems biomedicine. We have researchers with diverse expertise ranging from physical sciences, engineering to biology, and we champion cross-disciplinary research approaches and collaborations, which enable us to take on big, complex problems in biomedicine. Wei’s research is supported by several cross-institutional collaborative benchtop-to-bedside programs designated to translate start-of-the-art technologies and concepts into the clinic. These joint efforts allow us to integrate innovative technologies with systems-level computational approaches to investigate the cutting-edge cancer biology questions with a balance between discovery and clinical translation.
